UI Mods

A mini-map, a proper economy readout, one-key building, idle alerts, fog-free replays and more — free and open source. None of them change the game’s rules, so you can still play online with anyone, modded or not — and when you want something different, there are gameplay mods.

Mod Manager v0.17.0

A Mods page in the game menu for switching mods on and off and keeping them up to date, and a Mods panel in the lobby for the host’s gameplay mods.

Download the Mod Manager

Every mod you have, with a switch, on a Mods page in the game’s own menu.

Every mod you have, with a switch, on a Mods page in the game’s own menu.1 / 5
  • A switch for every modTurn any mod on or off from the menu, or mid-match with F8. It takes effect straight away, with no restart.
  • Updates in one clickA red number on the Mods icon in the main menu says when your SanctuaryDB mods have updates. Click Update, or Update All, and they install and reload on the spot, with your settings kept.
  • Settings in the gameEvery option a mod has, as the game’s own switches and sliders. No config files to edit.
  • Every other mod is a small drop-inIt brings the loader the rest run on, so each mod after this is a small zip you extract and you’re done.
  • Gameplay mods, picked by the hostThe host switches on the mods for the match in the lobby’s Mods panel, and Start waits until everyone has the same copies. Every lobby starts vanilla, so you can still join anyone.
  • Spots a bad installA zip nobody extracted, or a mod one folder too deep, shows up on the Mods page with what’s wrong.

Add the mods you want

Each Download below is a small zip for the same engine folder. Launch the game and it’s on — switch it off or change its settings from Mods in the game menu, or F8 mid-match.

SanctuaryDB HUD v0.18.0

A mini-map, a proper economy readout, reclaim values, build timers, alerts and post-match stats.

Download

A match with it on: economy strip, mini-map, commander and the bottom panels. (Eco Manager and Idle Engineers on too.)

A match with the HUD on: economy strip across the top, mini-map top left, commander top right, and the docked bottom panels
A match with it on: economy strip, mini-map, commander and the bottom panels. (Eco Manager and Idle Engineers on too.)1 / 8
  • A mini-mapThe one thing the game is missing. Fog where you can’t see, every contact you can, and click or drag to move the camera.
  • Your economy at a glanceAlloy and energy stored, in, out and net per second, how long until you run dry, how fast your builds really go when you stall, and what a full store is wasting.
  • See what the wrecks are worthHold Left Alt and every wreck on screen shows its reclaim, added up when you zoom out.
  • Build timersA countdown under everything you’re building. Orange means you’re stalling it; red means nothing is building it.
  • Alerts that matterYour commander under attack, a key structure finished, a player dropping out — with optional voice packs.
  • Cleaner bottom panelsOnly the orders and build options your selection really has, and a unit card you can read at a glance. One switch brings the originals back.
  • Find your commanderOne click on the top-right button selects your commander and snaps the camera to it.
  • The whole match, afterwardsWhen the game ends, a stats window for every army: score, resources gathered, spent and wasted, units built, lost and killed, with charts over time.
  • Quit from the result screenA Quit button beside the result and the match stats takes you straight back to the menu.
  • Every panel your sizeDrag the grip in a panel’s corner to resize it: the economy strip, commander, bottom panels or mini-map. Each one remembers its size.
  • Stats on the unit cardSpeed, damage per second and range for the selected unit, or for the build option under your mouse, with a balance mod’s numbers when one is on.
  • Your engineers’ queueSelect engineers and the buildings they have queued show as tiles, like a factory’s. Right-click one to drop it and keep the rest.
  • Engineers that keep workingAssisting engineers finish the building when its builder dies, then carry on with their own queue. A factory assist ends when the unit is done, and a right-click on an unfinished factory builds it rather than just repairing it.
  • Optional extrasSwitch on the ones you want: cursors that show what a right-click will do, waypoints and rally points you can drag, a build queue you reorder by dragging, Ctrl-A for every unit of the selected types, Delete asking for a second press before it blows up your commander, and a match clock. The unit stats, engineer queue and engineer orders above are off until you switch them on too.

Eco Manager v0.9.2

See what’s eating your economy, and upgrade extractors without babysitting them.

What’s eating your alloy and energy, hungriest first.

Two columns of build tiles, alloy and energy, each with what it’s spending
What’s eating your alloy and energy, hungriest first.1 / 2
  • What’s spending your resourcesYour biggest builds in progress, alloy on one side and energy on the other, hungriest first. Click to select the builders, right-click to pause them.
  • Every extractor, by tierA row of tiles per tier, with the ones mid-upgrade beside them. Click a tile to select that group.
  • Assist to upgradeOrder an engineer to assist a finished extractor and it starts the upgrade, instead of standing there doing nothing.
  • Upgrades that don’t stall youEach upgrade waits, paused, until its engineer actually starts work — so queueing five at once won’t flatten your economy.
  • Sized to fitDrag the grip in either panel’s corner to make it bigger or smaller. It stays that size next match.

Idle Engineers v0.7.2

Never lose track of an engineer or factory with nothing to do.

Camera Utilities v0.2.2

A clean picture for screenshots, videos and casting.

Download

Everything on one panel, mid-match.

The Camera Utilities panel: strategic icons always, when far or never; switches to hide range rings, order lines, health bars and the HUD
Everything on one panel, mid-match.1 / 3
  • Strip the screen bareSwitch off icons, range rings, order lines, planned buildings, health bars or the whole HUD, one at a time.
  • Icons only when you’re zoomed outStrategic icons can stay for the wide view and drop away as you dive in for the close-up.
  • See the whole battleUnits stay drawn much further out, so a wide shot shows the armies instead of a sea of icons.
  • Change it mid-shotEvery switch is on a small in-game panel, so you never have to leave the match. It stays up even with the whole HUD switched off.
